How quickly do you deliver?
Availability and estimated time of delivery is clearly shown on our order page. This means that where items are held in stock your goods will ordinarily be despatched within 7 days; precise delivery times will, of course, be confirmed at the point of order or enquiry. In other circumstances, our ability to deliver to you may be dependent upon a manufacturer's ability to deliver to us; again, a more definite delivery time will be made clear to you at the point of order or upon enquiry.
How personal is your service?
Remember we are part of a company and furniture store that has been trading successfully for over a century. The reason we have sustained our success is because we are able to supply household name branded furniture products at low prices backed up by efficient personal and friendly service.
How safe is it for me to order from InHome Furniture?
We use the highest available encryption technology which is currently 128 bit SSL for the transmission of credit/debit card details on the latest browsers. However, if you prefer, you are welcome to make payments by phone; we will not action your order until we have been in contact with you personally.
What if I want a manufacturers item not shown on your site?
If you have seen a product which is produced by one of our manufacturers but which is not shown on the site, then please Contact Us and we will do our best to source it for you.
Do you have a catalogue or swatches you can send me?
Most of our suppliers do not, in fact, offer up-to-date brochures due to products and/or styles constantly changing and evolving. The most up-to-date information is contained here in our online catalogue as we are continually amending and adding products, more often than not on a daily basis. However, we would be happy to answer any queries you might have regarding any of our products and would invite you to Contact Us for colour swatches.
Do you have other colour options, fabrics etc available for the products shown?
We can only show you a small selection of fabrics and colours on our site. Some manufacturers have hundreds of colour options which is why a member of our sales team can discuss the alternatives available and, if necessary, send you a swatch sample before you make a final decision.
How good a likeness are the colour samples/wood grains shown?
While we have taken every step to supply accurate representations of colours, wood grains, materials etc please note that these are likely to vary according to your browser, monitor and graphics card settings and capabilities.
Why should I choose to buy from InHome Furniture?
We have been trading from established premises since 1896. Our history of trading as a furniture store enables us to supply quality furniture products at inexpensive prices backed up by efficient and fast delivery. We believe that the same principles that have made our offline trading such a success apply to the success of our online trading.
What if I'm unable to take delivery of my order when it's ready?
In the event that you are unable to take delivery of your furniture when it is ready for delivery we are willing to store it for you free of charge for 21 days. For commercial reasons, we are unable to extend this period and will have to charge you a storage fee of £10 per week thereafter.
What if I'm not happy with my goods when they arrive?
Goods may be returned to us within 7 working days provided they are in the original packaging and in an undamaged unused condition. The cost of returning the goods would be the responsibility of the consumer.
What is your warranty policy?
All of our products come with a full manufacturers warranty; these vary in length but are for a minimum of one year. Further details on manufacturers warranties will generally be attached to your new furniture when it is delivered. Your statutory rights are not affected.
What if my delivery contains damaged goods?
Happily, this is a rare occurrence but it does happen that furniture sustains some minor damage during transit or contains a manufacturer's defect. If this is the case, please do call us immediately or contact us by email.
What are your delivery charges?
Our charges vary from free delivery to £85 depending on your postcode location in the UK. When placing an order please select the delivery postcode area from the drop-down menu. Your delivery charge will be automatically calculated and added to your total prior to you placing your order.
Can I cancel my order?
Of course! At any time prior to the day of delivery for all items shown in our online catalogue. Please do this by telephoning us on 01784 452536. However, if the item is not one shown in our online catalogue or if it is an odd-sized item that has had to be custom made, then 10 days notice of cancellation must be given.
What if I have a complaint?
In the unlikely event that you do have a complaint, please let us know by email or telephone us on 01784 452536. We will acknowledge your complaint within 2 working days and we will do our very best to resolve it as speedily as possible.
